The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich, Mihajlo Šaulić, attended the event marking the 30th anniversary of the Association of Serbian Folklore in Switzerland on November 12, 2024.

In his welcoming speech, the Consul General emphasized the importance of preserving Serbian traditions and cultural heritage and congratulated the Association on its milestone anniversary. He also expressed gratitude to all those whose work and dedication contribute to maintaining Serbian identity in the diaspora, highlighting the vital role of the Serbian communityin Switzerland in preserving cultural legacy.

Performances by folklore groups from five regions of Switzerland showcased choreographies from across Serbia, captivating a full audience. The guest appearance of the Tradicija Viva ensemble from Belgrade drew particular attention. The program opened with the Serbian national anthem, "Bože pravde," followed by the songs "Tamo daleko" and "Ovo je Srbija." Nenad Milenković, President of the Association, expressed his satisfaction with the event.
