Promotion of the legacy of Nikola Tesla and Mileva Marić Einstein in Zurich
The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich had the honor to host Mr. Peter Kaiser, founder of the “Tesla Society Schweiz” association, and Ms. Milka Kajganić, president of the “Golden Pen” Writers’ Association.
During the meeting, they discussed Mr. Kaiser’s long-standing engagement in promoting the scientific and creative legacy of Nikola Tesla in Swiss institutions and schools.
The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich, Mihajlo Šaulić, expressed his gratitude for the exceptional contribution in organizing numerous lectures, exhibitions and workshops in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, dedicated to Tesla’s work.
Special emphasis was placed on the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mileva Marić Einstein. Thanks to Mr. Kaiser’s efforts, her resting place was found, which is a significant step in preserving the memory of Mileva and her contribution to science. The possibilities of jointly marking this important anniversary through various cultural and scientific programs were discussed.
The meeting also discussed further mutual support, as well as potential joint projects aimed at promoting Serbian heritage and culture in Switzerland and beyond.
Consul General Mr. Šaulic thanked Mr. Kaiser and Ms. Kajganic for their visit and expressed hope that successful cooperation would continue in the future.
