Open Calls for Schools and Events Abroad

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Đurić, has issued decisions on opening calls for co-financing projects for the diaspora and Serbs in the region.

From March 25 (08:00) to April 4 (14:00), project applications will be accepted exclusively from organizations and associations based abroad.
The calls are open for the following areas:
- Schools Abroad
- Events Abroad

Promotion of the Legacy of Nikola Tesla and Mileva Marić Einstein in Zurich

March 19, 2025

The General Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich had the honor of hosting Mr. Peter Kaiser, founder of the association "Tesla Society Schweiz," and Mrs. Milka Kajganić, president of the Writers' Association "Zlatno Pero."

During the meeting, the long-standing efforts of Mr. Kaiser in promoting the scientific and creative legacy of Nikola Tesla in Swiss institutions and schools were discussed. The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich, Mr. Mihajlo Šaulić, expressed his gratitude for the outstanding contribution to organizing numerous lectures, exhibitions, and workshops dedicated to Tesla’s work in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

Special emphasis was placed on marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mileva Marić Einstein. Thanks to Mr. Kaiser’s efforts, the location of her final resting place has been identified, which represents a significant step in preserving the memory of Mileva and her contribution to science. The possibilities for jointly commemorating this important anniversary through various cultural and scientific programs were also discussed.

The meeting highlighted the importance of continued mutual support and explored the potential for future joint projects aimed at promoting Serbian heritage and culture in Switzerland and beyond.

Consul General Mr. Šaulić thanked Mr. Kaiser and Mrs. Kajganić for their visit and expressed hope that the successful cooperation will continue in the future.


Visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia

March 11, 2025.

The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Zurich, Mihajlo Šaulić, received the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Zurich, Fazil Çorman, today.

During the meeting, experiences in carrying out consular duties in Switzerland were exchanged and further cooperation between the Consulates General was discussed.
